Introducing the Feminine Otherkin Races

Femmekin OtherkinThis is a place for the all-feminine races of Otherkin.

Femmekin are a particular type of Otherkin – those who come from all-feminine races.

Otherkin, you may know, are people on this earth who believe that their true nature is that of a non-human people from another world or plane of being.

Otherkin are of different types, elves, dragons, angels, even wolves and vampires. Femmekin are not a single kind of Otherkin. We may be may kinds. We have likely not met all our kinds yet. We know that there are intemorphic (all-feminine) humanoids. There are also intemorphic shiani (faeries) in fact, shiani, being an Aristasian word means “intemorphic faeries” by default. There may be intemorphic elves and many other intemorphic races, and some or all of these may be incarnate in this world as Otherkin.

Otherkin tend to be assumed to be schizomorphic races – that is peoples that have both females and males. But some Otherkin come from Intemorphic races which have two feminine sexes. And there are perhaps some races that have a single feminine type with no” sexes” at all.

Why do we call ourselves feminine? Well, when we are humanoid we look like human females (though biologically we are different) . We are not actually female, but we are feminine. We know that biologically the female sex is the original sex. Even among humans all children are conceived feminine – only exposure to male hormones creates a male creature. In humans it happens in two stages – first in the womb and then at puberty, when secondary sexual characteristics such as deep voice and beard are acquired. Before this second stage, boys retain the normative feminine characteristics in these respects.

Femininity is not simply the converse of masculinity. It is the normative, original state of life. Many peoples throughout the universe are purely feminine. Indeed, schizomorphic (male/female) peoples are an exception and some think a late development that took place only in a few worlds.

Intemorphism is something that we have come to know about recently through the copious writings of Aristasia. Aristasia recognizes that there are “Exile Aristasians” – Aristasians who are not originally human but come, in some way, from the Aristasian world of Sai Herthe.

But it is likely there are other intemorphic worlds, and there are shiani (fae) in Sai Herthe who are intemorphic. Any or all of these peoples may have Otherkin – members who for whatever reason find themselves marooned in Telluria (this human world).

The ability of Otherkin to remember and awaken to our true nature tends to be limited by the information available to help us “crystallize” our realization.

As the possibility of Intemorphism becomes more widely known, we are sure that more and more female Otherkin will awaken to the fact that they are not from schizomorph worlds at all but are in fact Femmekin.

That is what this site is about. Femmekin and everything to do with us. It is a new concept, and femmekin are likely to feel even more lost, alone and stranded in Telluria than schizomorphic Otherkin (who at least have their schizomorphism in common with humans).

Here is a nest on the net where we can discover ourselves, discuss our feelings, our experiences and our realizations, and perhaps feel at home for the first time ever.

Comments are absolutely welcomed. We aim to keep commenting open and free. Any femmekin or anyone who thinks she may be femmekin is very very welcome to post her thoughts, feelings questions, chatter or anything at all.

This is your nest on the net. You may have felt more other than the otherest Otherkin – but you don’t have to any more!

  1. This entry is titled “Introducing the Feminine Otherkin Races”–shouldn’t it introduce races of feminine otherkin? The closest it comes to that is in the fourth paragraph, which states that there are intemorphic faeries, and speculates on the possible existence of other races. The entry also does not explain the concept of femmekin, or rather does so to a very small and rather more confusing extent.

I rather doubt that most otherkin are or believe they are of schizomorphic races–what about all the fae out there? We have male and female, true, but also many other sexes and genders. There are many otherkin who do not have any gender, or who identify as neither male nor female.

  2. Rayati, honoured Miss Dragonfly,
This is a rather new area, and I suppose we are feeling our way forward. Most intemorphs who have popped up in Telluria are Aristasians, and we are not yet certain whether there are any non-Aristasian intemorphs here.
Part of the reason for starting this blog was to discuss these matters and perhaps become a little clearer about it. So by “Introducing the feminine races of Otherkin” I think we really meant introducing the concept – the entire idea. After all, most people have not even heard of intemorphism.
By feminine races we do not necessarily mean only intemorphic ones. Intemorphs do not identify as male or female either. The two sexes – chelani and melini – are both feminine, but neither is female.
According to Aristasian thinking, femininity is a universal state of being that is not tied to biological femaleness (which is merely the converse of biological maleness). See the Encyclopaedia Aristasiana article on Femininity or more on this. It is possible that some one-sexed peoples and several-sexed peoples may also be feminine.
We do apologise if we have been unclear. The problem is that we are a bit unclear at this stage. We know a lot about Aristasian intemorphs. There is a large body of writing on the subject. We know relatively little about non-Aristasian intemorphs and less about any other feminine races.
Aristasians themselves tend to believe that other intemorphic Axial (humanoid) races exist and certainly believe that Shiani (intemorphic fae) exist. Aristasians also believe that the birth of Aristasian intemorphs in human bodies has something to do with Operation Bridgehead which is a deliberate (though very limited) deployment of Aristasians in Telluria.
The idea that there are intemorphs in Telluria who are in fact Shiani, or members of non-Aristasian races is a relatively recent one, but one which some people feel to be the case.
Our aim here was really to make a place in which such ideas could be discussed in a way that is not really appropriate on Aristasian forums.
What, if anything, will come of it, we don’t yet know.
If we are a bit vague and misty it is because we are as yet staring into the mist trying to make out what may be there!

  3. whiptail lizards are primarly all female, but they still need to breed sexualy to change genes and the act of mating helps them actualy reproduce.

also don’t forget about soil mites and aphids.

    huzza for therian-femmikin?

  4. A chelan must be married to a melin in order to have babies, though the exact conjugal process is not known – at any rate we don’t know it. It is not the sort of thing Aristasians would discuss.

Intemorphs hatch from pearlescent eggs. I heard a little while ago of someone causing considerable consternation by referring to Aristasian young as “larvae”, which is not really tactful or accurate!

  5. very nice blog, remaind me of manga

  6. you are ***** ****** insane, do you know that

  7. Thank you for your comment. We have edited out the cuss-words as dirty-mouth talk is not allowed here. We could have popped a question-mark on the end of your question at the same time: but why deceive the public by making you look literate?

  8. Here’s another comment. I want you to stop and think about this as well.

Copy and paste that into your browser. In that photo alone, from our tiny space of viewing on earth, is thousands of galaxies. Going from conventional science, each and every single one of those galaxies has solar systems. Millions of stars for each one, and surely there is at least one solar system that has sustainable life.

That image is just a spec, a tiny spec of the universe that we caught with our technology.

Now, I challenge you to buy a low-powered telescope or even some binoculars and hunt the deep sky. A lot of deep-sky objects are readily available to view even with cheap **** like that. The Andromeda Galaxy, for one, is four times wider than the moon when it comes to visibility. That said galaxy is racing towards ours as quick as it can in in a few million years, it’s going to slice ours in half and then a few million years after that, it’s going to merge with ours.

By that time our sun will have already become a planetary nebula making a nice nighttime display for all the neighbouring systems.

About a few million-billion years into the future. Nobody on this planet is going to care about femmekin or otherkin or whateverkin by that time. All those people will be dead, especially by the way Darwinism goes. Our sun turning into a red supergiant will take care of that. And no, Aeris won’t be there either.

I’m wondering if there’ll be a group of folks who think they’re a reincarnation of a female anime character. I doubt it.

Is that literate enough for you?

  9. 9/10 for literacy. You drop a few points for things like consistently misspelling “speck” and saying “as quick as it can” rather than “as quickly…” (we do not count the typos against you – we all make them). But otherwise, a highly literate effort. It just shows you can do it when you try.

You have also drawn a nice picture of the vastness of time and space (a fact of which we were not unaware, but it is always nice to hear about it again). Should you wish to see a less “scientistic” and more traditional view of the same cosmology, you might like to read this.

    http://aristasia.net/cosmos.html

Naturally both accounts are true on their different levels.

What we fail to grasp is how this is any more a criticism of our point of view than it is of yours. Modern Western Telluria with its beloved four-letter words and its simplistic sentimental liberal/individualism will be just as much a meaningless thing that once flickered for a moment on some forgotten planet.

According to your Darwinist perspective (which will itself be long forgotten), no values that mean anything to humanity – or any similar species – actually mean anything to the Cosmos. That is the essence of the Nietzsche quotation at the beginning of the passage we just recommended.

There is an answer to that view, and the rest of the passage gives it.

If you understand and accept that answer, it changes a lot of things. If you don’t, then it certainly renders our point of view (at least if you look at it in a certain way) ridiculous. But on the same level, it renders the whole of human civilisation, and all its much vaunted “normalcy” and “common sense” equally ridiculous.

If your charmingly literate essay on cosmology has any bearing at all on the “sensibleness” or otherwise of any set of values, it has exactly the same bearing on them all.

  10. So you’re going to believe whatever you’re going to believe.

I’m not going to fault you on that. Instead of throwing a fit and banning my IP, you responded tactfully.

    Nice. No fault there.

I’m not going to bug you anymore, much less read this website. However, my original challenge still stands. Grab yourself a pair of binoculars and hit the deep sky, there’s so much stuff to see. It’s amazing what cheap optics can show you. Star clusters, galaxies, well, and more.

Anyway, I’m out. BTW, “spec” is how we spell it where I’m from.

  11. Thank you, honoured sir. We may disagree, but there is no reason we can’t all be friendly and good sports.

Thank you for being a good sport too. And give our regards to the sheriff (yes, we appreciate your namesake!)

I think we will try those binoculars. Thank you for the tip.

    May Dea bless you.

  12. Okay, i know this may sound ridiculous, but who’s Dea? I hate to seem ignorant, but I wont learn if I don’t ask. I stumbled across this website while looking for Otherkin sites, as I am a vampire, and I must say, this site is fascinating. I didn’t even know Femmekin existed before this, and I’ve done my homework, so that just shows how well-hidden the information on them are!

  13. Who is Dea?

Those who worship Her would say that She is the Mother of us all.

Ehm.. No. Gender, or sex, is a result of chromosomes. Possible pares are: XY, YY, XX. Male, female and.. Something theat could be both, or either.
The development of the sex, in the womb, has, indeed, got something to do with hormones. Whoohoo. That isn’t to say that ‘female’ is thé natural state.
It does happen that XY children are born ‘female,’ in which case they are, in nearly every respect, indead normally female. It does happen that YY children are born ‘male,’ in which case, they are, in nearly every respect, male. In both cases, the individuals are sterile, and there is a good chance of malformation of sexual organs.
If the natural state of being is ‘female,’ then why does every body on this planet have some version of both testosteron and androgen? These are male hormones, and cause the physical changes of male teens. But also some of female teens. Voice drops, facial hair, muscle density, shoulder with, muscle size, all that sort of thing. Female teens also experience this, only to a far lower extent, depending on the person. The testicals produce extra testosteron and androgen, to increase these changes in male children.
Both genders are also influenced by oestrogens and progestoron. Both sexes change, in puberty, because of these hormones, be it females to a greater extent than males.

So since the pairing of chromosomes is the initial cause for birth gender, and development in the womb the secondary, ‘female’ is merely á natural state of being, and male another. Hermafrodite is another natural state of being, and so is genderless, and bi-gendered. Even transgendered is a natural state, as the initial chromosomes do not match with later development, and somehow went astray.

If only such a small thing as gender wasn’t this complicated for social standards…

  15. Simply curious, but do you people actually beleive that you’re not human, or is this a roleplaying site?

  16. very intresting

  17. To Femmekin sisterhood: Can you post your contact details (Email, MSN, ICQ, etc.) somewhere on this site (or redir me where can I find them), or contact me at astralspire@astralspire.com ? I would like to discuss with you matters concerning community.

    Respectfully,
    AstralSpire

  18. This is very interesting. I am grateful for this site and others like it. I still don’t know if I’m Otherkin–I’m doing a lot of soul-searching–but it helps explain a lot of stuff…

Anyway, thanks for the great site.

  19. When you say that all humans are conceived feminine, do you mean having feminine characteristics or on a deeper, genetic level?

I aware that in early development boys and girls are indistinguishable (that boys have genital features that appear to be feminine) and that after exposure to the masculine hormones the penis develops and the differences begin.

However, I also know that I was conceived with a Y-chromosome, which caused those hormones to come out and caused me to be a male.

You’re probably just using some words in ways that are different from how I’m used to it.

    Basically, does feminine refer to:
    -Body Characteristics
    -Actual Gender

  20. I’m a boy who likes feminine things. Am I a sissy, or a femmekin?

  21. Hugo, please don’t call yourself a “sissy.” Have more respect for yourself than that. I know a guy who likes “feminine” things and he’s VERY “masculine” aka “not-sissy.” He’s structured and stable but doesn’t like “macho men,” cause he finds them disgusting. Besides, “macho” is Spanish for male-animal, anyway. Not a male human being (a REAL man).

I think once you’ve mastered self-respect, whatever label people give you doesn’t matter. Just find out for yourself what you liked to label yourself as (if you like labeling at all) and just be yourself… be happu!🙂

  22. *happy, lol

  23. Honoured readers. I find the views espoused here very fascinating and heart-warming. Please forgive any intrusion but I beg the favour to ask a question of those who I think can enlighten me.

I have read a little of the Aristasian view of the world post-1960. What I believe I have understood corresponds to much of my own thinking about that world, in which I am unfortunate to live. I admire the intellectual tools and rigour with which Aristasians have exposed the principles of life that now hold sway in the ‘real’ world. For me, the most wonderful aspect of Aristasian philosophy is its constructive and restorative power – it is a positive position, and creates new possibilities of existing rather than simply being critical.

Now, my question: I am a male person and no matter how you define that I am sure it would not be open to me to become part of Aristasia. However, I would be very much encouraged to learn of any other means of conversing, being, and acting in concord, with those who comprehend and agree with the Aristasian worldview.

I am naturally disdainful of what Aristasians term The Pit and The Eclipse but to continue in this way merely is both lonely and disagreeable, not to mention negative. Can any kind person give me some practical advice as to how I might turn my contempt into something that is far more expansive, and nurturing of higher forms, what companions I could expect to look for, and where I might find them?

    With respect, and thanks,

    Orf

  24. Quote Lopting:
“Ehm.. No. Gender, or sex, is a result of chromosomes. Possible pares are: XY, YY, XX. Male, female and.. Something theat could be both, or either.

Sorry, I just couldn’t let this go by without saying something about it. I can’t stand to leave false information uncorrected. The chromosomes are all wrong. Female chromosome pairings are XX, and male chromosome pairings are XY. So, speaking scientifically, both genders have a female component. Therefore, if you were only looking at this from a scientific perspective, technically saying that female is the original sex, that would be correct. And that is only speaking scientifically, while (I believe) most of this exists on a more metaphysical plane, seeing as they are not specifically referring to being “female,” but “feminine.”. Where female is the actual genetic chromosome pairing, and feminine is more…qualities.

    Quote Divani:
“Simply curious, but do you people actually beleive that you’re not human, or is this a roleplaying site?”

Yes, this is really what people believe. I know that the original poster will probably not see this, but I think it might be beneficial for me to post this, so that others with the same question may see it. You will find that all (if I may be so bold) Otherkin sites truly believe that they are actually inhuman. We know that, physically, we are in a human body, and there is nothing we can do about that. But spiritually, we are nonhuman. Whether we are Therians (earthly animals), Femmekin, or just Otherkins in general.
While this is accepted among the community, there ARE different views on the reasons. The more spiritual ones either have one of two beliefs. A) They believe that they lived a past life as their “kintype,” or B) They believe that upon their creation, their soul was merged with that of one of their kintype. There are of course some more skeptical people within the community who are not into the whole spiritual point of view, and they generally believe that all of this is psychological.

I would also like to point out that I, personally, am not a Femmekin (as far as I am aware), but simply a Therian/Otherkin who would like to learn as much as physically possible. I wouldn’t mind answering any questions anyone has, though, as I am quite knowledgable on many subjects.

(I would also like to ask where Femmekin Sisterhood is. The last post she made on this thread was five years ago.)

  25. @Orfanum:
(Your post was too long to quote.)

If you believe that spiritually, you are not human (or schizomorph) but in fact, an intermorph species, then I would say that the Femmekin community would most likely welcome you (if they operate on at least slightly similar beliefs to the rest of the Otherkin community). That is to say that your metaphysical body (soul) is not the same as your physical body, and most Otherkin communities accept that soul and body can have different genders. (I mean, really, look at the fae. They have even more genders than humans, so there must be some mismatched Otherkin there.) If your soul is intermorphic, then it’s not really your fault you were put in the wrong type of body.

It’s typically referred to as Species Dysmorphia, in which one believes they were born into the wrong species, much the same as how trans-gendered people believe they were born into the wrong gender. If Femmekin operate on the same basis of the rest of the communities, I would suspect that they would still be welcoming of you. Like I said, though, I do not consider myself to BE Femmekin, so I do not know for certain.

  26. Just so everyone knows, the ladies behind this can be found here: http://daughtersofshiningharmony.com and they’re still going strong, mostly.

  27. Rayati!
I am curious if there are any intemorphic Starseeds. I myself am from Sirius, and am a type of mermaid called the Nummo. I have rather extensive memories of this past life.. It’s lovely to discover you all!

I might add, the memory that is particularly intriguing…we Nummo DO hatch from pearlescent eggs. Just rather interesting!🙂

  28. OMG HI. I FOUND YOU AT LAST.

    So… first post… I’m a little shy but that won’t last long :3

My name is Anna. I live in this boy who’s finally got the balls to let me take control and be girly! It’s really freeing too… like finally breathing real air. I am him right now and he is in the background for once. I don’t have to listen to him go on and on about everything right now. I’m a simple girl, I like anime, cosplay, being impaired, dancing, and ordering boys around. He’s a fun one, too, ladies haha. My human body seems to be a relatively decent looking Nordic boy, so I guess physically I’m in luck. ..? He doesn’t like himself though.. well okay you know what?

Maybe you can all help a loud mouth blonde out? Like… where do I start? Where does this guy’s consciousness end and mine begin? How do I get him to listen to a full sentence from me? I’m the reason he’s still in tact right now and I’m too cute to ignore😦

How do we manage this? It’s likeep having a roommate/babysitting someone’s kid!

I have him draw me a lot. I like to be a nurse. Pictures to follow~

I’m so excited to get to know everyone!!

  29. Hi again~

    Here’s my actual page😀
